Manager/Supervisor
KDG Construction Consulting (KDG)  is seeking a results-driven Controller to support our company’s financial operations. The position is responsible for managing the company’s accounting-related activities, including high-level bookkeeping, managerial accounting, and preparing reports for executive management. Duties include overseeing financial reporting, performing essential duties relating to payroll, and monitoring A/P and A/R activities. This position will report directly to the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

*This is a full-time position offering the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. Our corporate headquarters is located in Glendale, CA.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee all payroll duties and ensure the required information is processed on time. 
  • Collaborate with and support operations, business development and human resources in various finance-related tasks and forecasting. 
  • Monitor expense reporting, ensuring all receipts and reimbursements are accounted for. 
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivables; including processing of invoices.
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements. 
  • Ensure proper coding of invoices and transactions. 
  • Prepare account reconciliations. 
  • Prepare of financial budgets and forecasts, as needed. 
  • Properly file reports that comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements. 
  • Coordinate bank deposits and transactions.
  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process. 
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance. 
  • Manage accounting support staff. 
  • Provide other support as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills: 
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar corporate accounting role 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Experience in advanced bookkeeping, financial analysis and reporting 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality 
  • Demonstrated success in dispute resolution and problem-solving 
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workload 
  • Exceptional organizational skills 
  • Versatile communication abilities 
  • Proactive and efficient team player

Anticipated Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
