KDG Construction Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Office Engineer to support terminal construction projects at Ontario International Airport. This role will play a key part in project coordination, document control, and RFI management, ensuring efficient communication between field teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties:
RFI & Submittal Management
- Track, log, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) from issuance through resolution
- Coordinate responses between design teams, contractors, and project management
- Maintain accurate RFI logs and ensure timely follow-ups
- Provide administrative and technical support for ongoing terminal construction work
- Assist with tracking project milestones, schedules, and deliverables
- Support field teams with documentation and coordination needs
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings (OACs, progress meetings, coordination meetings)
- Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item logs
- Distribute meeting documentation and track follow-ups
- Maintain project document control systems (drawings, specs, submittals, change orders)
- Ensure proper version control and document distribution
- Archive and organize records in accordance with project and client standards
- Assist Project Managers and Construction Managers with daily reporting and project administration
- Support cost tracking, contract documentation, and change management processes
- Interface with stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supporting construction projects (aviation or public works preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- Experience with RFI tracking and document control systems
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
